Wirelessly control select Canon, Nikon, Sony, and FUJIFILM cameras up to 500′ away with the CamRanger 2 Wireless Transmitter and your tablet or smartphone. The wireless transmitter creates a dual-band Wifi network, so your device can connect to it; iOS, macOS, Android, and Windows platforms are supported on your corresponding device. The CamRanger 2 connects to the camera’s USB port with the supported USB cable, available separately. Once you are successful in connecting the app to the wireless transmitter, you can capture Raw and JPEG images; set ISO, shutter speeds, and aperture settings; as well as create time-lapse videos, HDR photography, and so much more.
The built-in memory card port on the transmitter supports SD, SDHC, and SDHX cards, with which the files of your images can be viewed, shared, or even deleted. The removable Li-ion battery is charged within the transmitter through its USB port, but the battery can also be recharged with an optional charger available from CamRanger. With its 1/4″-20 socket, it provides the wireless transmitter multiple mounting options on or near the camera.
