The technical details behind this lens
Laowa 20mm f/4 ZERO-D Shift – Sony FE offers remarkable features. The lens’s broad 94.4° angle of view is complemented by an impressive +/- 11mm shift range to compensate for unwanted converging lines and keystone distortion. In addition, as part of the Zero-D lens series, this lens renders scenes with a high degree of accuracy and very low distortion. Pairing an exceptionally wide angle of view with the ability to correct for perspective distortion, it is a great lens for architectural and interior photography. This lens also features a fourteen-blade diaphragm that creates smooth and circular bokeh as well as specular highlights when stopped down and photographing point light sources.
Excellent Performance
Two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are featured, which reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. A water-repellent “frog eye” coating also protects the front lens element from water droplets and moisture. The lens uses a manual focus design for working with subjects as close as 9.8″ away and has a fourteen-blade diaphragm for producing smooth and circular bokeh as well as specular highlights when stopped down and photographing point light sources.
