The Novoflex Adapter for Canon FD Lenses to 39mm Screwmount Leica, Canon & Voigtlander Bessa R/L Cameras adapter allows a Canon FD type lens to be mounted on cameras using the 39mm screw-mount lens mount; e.g. early Leica, Canon, and Voigtlander screw mount cameras.

Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), or any other functions are not retained using this adapter. In this case, you will need to meter in “stop-down mode” since the lens cannot have its aperture controlled by the camera body.
