The PGYTECH Magic Arm features two ball joints, one on each end, that move through 180° of tilt and feature 360° of rotation. The single large thumbwheel is easy to grip and provides leverage for tightening or loosening the arm. The arm itself is almost 4.5″ long and has a load capacity of 3,3 lb. Each ball features a silicone band that provides a grip and prevents metal-on-metal wear when the arm is tightened.
Included with the arm are three interchangeable ball ends, each providing different mounting options. Two of the ball ends feature a 1/4″-20 threaded mounting stud with an anti-slip pad and an “Alai” spring-loaded anti-twist pin. However, one of the ball’s ends features a 1/4″-20 threaded mounting hole and the other a 3/8″-16 threaded hole. The third ball end features a cold shoe foot and a 1/4″-20 threaded mounting hole. These three ball ends allow you to customize the magic arm to suit your needs, and you can use the ball ends as individual mounting adapters if you wish.
