The Voigtlander 23mm f/1.2 Aspherical is a compact 35mm-equivalent lens for X-Mount. With its bright f/1.2 maximum aperture that suits working in a wide range of lighting conditions, this all-metal, manual focus lens delivers outstanding optical performance and precise focusing action while keeping size and weight to a minimum. To achieve this, Voigtlander makes use of two low-dispersion glass elements and one aspherical element, as well as a metal helicoid unit that has undergone specific quality control processes.
Despite its mechanical design the lens fully supports communication with digital camera bodies and will be compatible with many features that rely on this interface. A rounded 12-blade diaphragm ensures the bokeh remains pleasingly circular at all apertures and is controlled by a built-in aperture ring.
