Close Up Filters or Close Up Lenses are also known as Macro filters which essentially enable a camera to zoom in much closer to be able to focus on an object at close range. With the use of a diopter, a Close Up Filter will provide the photographer with the ability to change the optical power to various configurations such as +1, +2, +7 etc.
