The 10×42 Outland X Binoculars from Celestron feature multicoated optics, BAK4 Roof Prisms, a wide angle of view, and weather-proof construction with rubber armouring. While the multicoated lenses increase transmission and image brightness, the Roof Prisms made of BAK4 optical glass preserve true colours. The wide 5.6° angular field of view allows you to see a linear field of 293′ at a distance of 1000 yards, and the center focus with a diopter allow seeing crisp details as close as 14.8′. The binocular also has a 56-74 mm interpupillary adjustment range, a 4.2 mm exit pupil and 14 mm eye relief.
In addition to optical performance features, the Outlander X presents a number of convenience and construction highlights. The binocular housing is nitrogen-purged water and fogproof, with a smooth black rubberized armoring to ensure a non-slip grip. For easy focusing, there is a large knurled center focus knob and a ribbed diopter ring on the right eyepiece. To accommodate anyone with glasses, the eyepieces have twist-up eyecups. If you want to attach the binocular to a tripod, use the threaded hole under the front center cup with an optional adapter.
Also included with the binocular are a soft neoprene carry pouch, a strap, and protective objective lens cups.
